Retreat Vibe & Community Guidelines
We want this retreat to feel relaxed, welcoming, fun, and deeply supportive — the kind of space where people can be fully themselves while also being thoughtful about the group experience.
This is a shared adventure, which means a little awareness and consideration go a long way.
Come with openness
Everyone arrives with different backgrounds, comfort levels, and reasons for being here. We ask guests to come with curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to connect without judgment.
Challenge by choice
This retreat is designed to offer opportunities for movement, adventure, breath, connection, and play — but participation is always your choice. We encourage guests to stretch themselves when it feels aligned, while also honoring their own needs, limits, and pace.
Be easy to travel with
A great retreat group is made up of people who are flexible, respectful, and considerate. Be on time when possible, communicate clearly, and bring the kind of energy that helps the group feel smooth and supported.
Shared rooms = shared courtesy
If you’re in a shared room, a little thoughtfulness makes all the difference. Keep your things reasonably tidy, be mindful of noise, use headphones when appropriate, and respect that your roommate may have different habits, rhythms, or sleep needs than you do.
In short: don’t be the person exploding a suitcase across the entire room for six days.
Respect personal space
This retreat is about connection, but that also includes respecting boundaries. Some people recharge socially, others need a bit more quiet time. Be warm, but don’t assume everyone wants constant conversation, processing, or togetherness every moment of the day.
Practice self-awareness
You do not need to be perfectly calm, perfectly healed, or perfectly anything. But we do ask everyone to bring a basic level of self-awareness and personal responsibility. Notice your energy. Notice how you affect the group. Take care of yourself so the group dynamic stays healthy and enjoyable.
Keep it mindful, not heavy
This retreat includes meaningful experiences, but the overall tone is intended to be grounded, alive, and enjoyable. Depth is welcome. So is laughter. We love real conversations — just not turning every dinner into an accidental therapy session.
Contribute to the vibe
The best retreats happen when everyone helps create the atmosphere. Say hi. Include people. Bring warmth. Bring presence. Bring humor. Help make it feel like the kind of experience people will remember because of how good it felt to be there.
Honor rest
Some guests will be early risers. Some will need quiet at night. Some will be all in for the adventure and others will need a reset moment by the pool. Part of retreat life is respecting the rhythms of the group and the shared space.
Phones down, presence up
You do not need to disappear from life entirely, but we encourage guests to be intentional with phone use and as present as possible. The more you are here, the more you’ll get from the experience.
Assume good intent
Travel, shared housing, and group dynamics are real life — which means small things can come up. If something feels off, lead with generosity, communicate kindly, and assume good intent before jumping to conclusions.
